Outdoor Sports/Extracurricular Mitigation Due to NEW IDPH Guidelines
Due to recent clarification from IDPH: All athletes will be given two tickets per game for bleacher spectators to attend. Visiting team fans will be given two entry tickets per athlete. The sidelines of the field may be accessed by all spectators with parked vehicles. Social distancing is required.
Media will be allowed to cover the game.
Limited locker room use will be available for dressing. Team meetings will be required to be held in an open area.
Limit concessions/vending may be provided.
Masks are required for all individuals in attendance.
Athletes not involved in the contest will be socially distanced by the team bench.
Oblong or Palestine’s AD will provide visiting team AD and/or principals and athletes with camera information so games can be live-streamed from any device. This information will also be shared on each school’s website and social media.
